My name is Monica and my cattery is situated in the breath-taking North Yorkshire Dales

Our cattery name Skautroll means "Forest Troll""  and is registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy. Champion Norgeskaukatt Arnor, aka Finn pictured above was bred in the UK . Finn's  father (imported from Norway) was from very old traditional bloodlines. For this reason I wanted a Norwegian name that was in keeping with the Norwegian Tradition, Skautroll was therefore chosen for me by Ina, a well respected and long established breeder in Norway who bred Finn's father Njall Sverre.

We breed Norwegian Forest Cats to preserve the traditional  look and old bloodlines, something we take very seriously and pride ourselves in the quality of our kittens.

Before I introduce you to my cats, I would like to say Thank  you to three breeders.  From the UK, firstly, Doreen and Roger of the Maysula Cattery from where I obtained my first two wegies and secondly to Lorraine and John of the Norgeskaukatt Cattery for allowing me two of their cats to cherish, The subsequent pleasure they all bring together ,your friendship and support  is wonderful.
